Okay, so the convention wasn't all that great and stuff but Shingo decided to be awesome and take me to see some porn and stuff late at night! On Friday I actually got to watch Kekko Kamen for the first time and on Saturday they were showing My Sexual Harassment which I'd heard stuff about and got curious about and so I convinced Shingo to take me to it but nobody else came with us (the two people who host all the BMU students were thrilled to get the room to themselves and stayed in it) and when we got back they were all asleep (even Junta). Also, Shingo actually went around on Saturday as Abe Takakazu and is therefore now my hero.

Also on Friday...there was this. Which I think is kind of amazing.

Although she denied it to me the whole time I totally knew that 1863_project had a massive crush on Darvish. And now there is proof because soprano_no_eiji got her a giant Darvish calendar and she keeps staring at it and grinning stupidly and occasionally drooling.

...I dunno. Ever since I got back, things just haven't felt right. Something...well, really, someone...someone's missing.

I don't like this.

So Seibu won the opener! And the game was played in Tokyo, too, so to take the opener in the opposing ballpark - that's huge stuff! Wakui went eight, too! It was all kinds of awesome, wasn't it?

I'd do a better analysis of this but Shingo is singing Working 9 to 5 on Karaoke Revolution and he keeps changing the words to be about me and Hanai and Hanai and I have to go and attack him now.

Okay, so this is almost a week old, but I kept forgetting to announce it and everything...

So before taking a shower 1863_project  ranted to me about baseball. I basically got this:

~ She is a total cynic and has been really frustrated with the Sox lately.
~ And yet she's not giving up on this team because she loves them. She said she feels about them the way some people feel about a lover - that same emotional pull.
~ She did point out that even with the recent scandal, I didn't give up on Seibu and they're currently leading the Pacific League by 4 games this season. That made sense.
~ She thinks this loss is good for the fanbase - it'll teach those bandwagon fans who jumped on in '04 and '07 how to lose, because they haven't learned that yet - especially the ones from '07, because they didn't experience '06. See, she's a cynic.
~ She thinks baseball is going to kill her.

She looks a lot calmer now that she's taken a shower, but I can tell she's still really upset because she wanted this one bad. I think she's okay, though. I even think she's going to wear her Sox hat tomorrow in defiance or something just to show people that no matter what, she still loves them. The relationship just needs to be smoothed over a bit, maybe.

One question - why is Hanai in this box?

1863_project says I have to come along with her, so I totally am.

Now I get to laugh at Giambi's pornstache in person and yell all sorts of anchi-kyojin things at Matsui (because I hate Yomiuri very much) and go to one of the most historic baseball stadiums in the world. Holy crap!

...also, totally wearing my Matsuzaka Seibu Lions jersey. Even if it kills me.
